 Our Happy Block Neighborhood Garden Fees

Garden Plot Costs and Sizes: (as of 04/01/2024)

• Half-bed-sized plots are good for beginning gardeners or families of 2-3 people
• Half Bed Plot (approx. 4 foot x 4 foot) - $60
  
  
• Full-bed plots are more appropriate for large families or groups and experienced gardeners.
• Full Bed Plot (approx. 8 foot x 4 foot) - $120
  

We plan to assign plots each year March through May, as space is available. If your request is received after the cutoff date for plot assignments, or there are no available plots in Our Happy Block Garden, your name will be added to the waitlist for next year. Once you've been assigned a plot, you'll be given the opportunity to renew your plot each year.

Contact us to see if we can assign a plot to you, even if you contact us after the cutoff date. 

If there is space available, we will try to work with you!

Note on Fees:

• Fees include water usage for your plot, soil, raised bed (already built for you)
• This garden is a nonprofit garden.
• All fees are used for water and maintenance of the garden space.

We will contact you via phone or email when a plot is available and you will be asked to:

• Pay for the garden plot
• Sign a liability waiver 
• Abide by the community garden policies and procedures (Please Read)
